Crusader Cooking and BBQ Academy will make for one delicious summer for all our young chefs. Our academy is a hands on culinary experience with a maximum class size of 15 chefs. Our camps are taught by local chefs/cooking instructors who are known in the San Francisco Bay Area for having an artisan approach and sustainable practices. Our cooking academy supports local organic farms and ranches.
Our young chefs will spend a week in our chef kitchen learning how to cook and BBQ with fresh ingredients, learning kitchen safety, culinary fundamentals, enjoying great food, expanding their palates and making new friends. Each camper walks away learning various bbq, cooking, methods and styles The funnest part of this amazing camp is that our chefs get to eat everything they create, yummy! Campers must wear closed toe shoes. We are not a 100% nut-free kitchen, though we do not cook with nuts. Campers make and eat their lunch during camp each day!
